Basic Concept In Integrating Technology to Instruction
Integrating Technology in Music (MAPEH)
Level 1 (Simple Integration)
Technology integration in this level has no substantial change in the teaching-learning process from the previous method. To introduce the lesson in music by using a powerpoint presentation, I will show to the pupils some of the images of the basic instruments or musical instruments (should be available either online or downloaded apps). Give them ideas where it came from and how it is used.
Level 2 (Middle Level Integration)
In this level, there is a purposeful use of technology to support key learning areas. Through downloaded or online musical apps, I will let the pupils explore and learn the different sounds of the musical instruments.
Level 3 (High Level Integration)
Technology in this level is the central instructional tool. When pupils are ready and have enough knowledge about the different musical instruments, I will let them choose their favorite musical instrument and after that they can compose or create their own music.
